Hi am looking into Elizabeth's background as part of my ww1 project. I know about her war years but want to know her personal stuff like date\place\death etc. All i have is at the time of joining the Scottish Womens Hospitals as a nurse she was living at Coopers Hotel in Landroe. Can anyone find her?

I assume you mean Landore, near Swansea?

Have found an Elizabeth, born around 1890, parents William and Hannah Clement. Sisters Mary Ann, Selina and Esther, though there may be others.

Marriage of Elizabeth's parents -

William Clement
q4 1883, Swansea
Vol 11a Page 1117

On the same page is Hannah Victoria Nolivan/Nolivau

The name ties is with the lodger on the 1901 (John Notivanex) or rather very similar spellings  :)

Hannah was born in Belgium.

There is a book 'Swansea in the Great War' by Bernard Lewis, that mentions Elizabeth Clement.

Many thanks everyone, JJ does it mention her time at Valjevo in Serbia and effectively becoming a POW?

It does mention that she was moved to Valjevo and nearby at Valion, a camp hospital was set up.
There doesn't appear to be a mention of her being a POW.

Will send you the link.
