Yeovil baptism (possibly?) and Huish baptism?
« on: Sunday 03 May 15 20:58 BST (UK) »
Hi
After many years of,searching for information on my great great great grandmother Sarah Day nee Rob(b)ins, I had a breakthrough today. I finally found her on the 1851 census living in Huish Episcopi.I also found two more children for her and her husband Thomas Day both baptised in Huish Episcopi also her burial in 1853 in Huish Episcopi. By finding her on the 1851 census I ,at last, had a birthplace for her ,Yeovil. However , I cannot find many records for Yeovil online. Using her burial age she is born around 1766. I found a Sarah Robins in Haslebury Plucknett for 1766, but there is a girl of that name marrying in North Perrot 23 years later ,so I think that was her, not my Sarah Robins. Are there any Yeovil records available and as there would be a number of churches for a larger place, so where do I start?
Also Thomas Day her husband ,I cannot find him at all, either a baptism or burial, any help would be great. His wedding said his abode is Huish.
Sorry it is a bit long winded thanks

The source between Yeovil and Huish Episcopi is usually Langport.
