Kenny family from Killybegs area
« on: Wednesday 06 May 15 23:17 BST (UK) »
Seeking any information on George Kenny (1836-1911) and his father Charles Kenny - dates unknown. George's wife was Ellen. Believed to have lived in the Binroe/Benroe area. Would like to find burial location and would appreciate any other info.

George was my great grandfather. I don't know where he was buried, but I can tell you about his son, my grandfather, also named George. I would be very interested to know of your connection to them.

Hi Astor1, thank you for contact. My Mother was Teresa Margaret Kenny, born in Belfast in 1915 to George Kenny (1878-1950) / Margaret McGinn (1873-1915) married in Bruckless Donegal 13th Feb 1912. After his first wife died, George remarried Teresa Duffy on 6th June 1918. George, (my grandfather) died in Belfast on 24th Jan.1950. I would be very interested in any more info you might be able to offer on the family. kenbonner@btinternet.com
