This Richard Chaloner is not the son of Nichola Sophia Cole-Hamilton (nee Chaloner). He was born 1810, and took the name of Chaloner to inherit from his maternal grandfather.
Nichola Sophia’s father was Richard Chaloner of Kingsfort, co. Meath. He was married 1784, so if he is the one mentioned for 1767 he would have been young. His father and grandfather were not called Richard, so he is the most likely candidate.

I edited my previous post for clarity. Richard Cole-Hamilton, who took the name Chaloner, was not alive in 1767

And I see from the Chaloner tree on your link that the elder Richard Chaloner had an uncle also Richard, so he also becomes a candidate I guess. I’m not sure who had Kingsfort in that earlier generation
