Hi, I am hoping someone may be able to help me crack my dead end.  ???

My ancestors John McGregor (b1854) and wife Agnes Knox (b1852), lived in Belbeggie Cottage, Fife in the 1890's+. I am grand-daughter of their son John McGregor (b1903) who died in Brisbane, Australia in 1945.

Hello Kirsty,
Wester Balbeggie Farm, Middle Balbeggie Farm, Easter Balbeggie Farm & Balbeggie Cottage were all in Dysart Parish, Fife. Balbeggie Cottage is midway between Middle Balbeggie & Easter Balbeggie, on south side of Balbeggie Avenue (a farm road, not a street) just west, south west of Thornton village and north of Dunnikier Park Golf Course/Mitchelston Industrial Estate, Kirkcaldy.
There have been major changes in the Thornton area since your relatives lived there so not sure if it is still included in Dysart Parish.
               Regards,     Dod.
