I had previously mentioned the possible anglicising of his first name in hopes of finding his death as I already have the marriage for Mary/Maria and Guglielmo.   :)

They were married on the 9th of October 1920 in Gateshead.

But there is no Galea/Galloway - Maria Conway marriage on the GRO index.

(I'm not using Ancestry  :) )

The only Galloway marriage on the GRO index in Gateshead in that quarter is George Galloway - Elizabeth Mullen (who by strange coincidence  :-\ could well have been nee Conway)

Blimey, I do apologise!!!!  Firstly, I do not have the actual marriage certificate.  Secondly, the Galloway/Mullen marriage looks like it is correct.  It is indeed Elizabeth Mullen, nee Conway!  We got the tree correct going forwards and backwards, just wrong with Guglielmo and Maria which I am changing to William and Elizabeth.  I've learned to spell Guglielmo quite well now though LOL!

Sorry Jen -  As well as Ancestry (select marriages)  - it is on the family search site

I think the entry on ancestry is simply sourced from Family Search. The marriage is also on FindMyPast - also sourced from Family Search.
