Hi I am trying to help a man who lives in USA to find out what happened to
his uncle William James Ford born 1910 Lyncombe Bath I have found him in the 1911 census living with his grandparents Edith Alice Hancock born1870 Bathampton and her husband Henry Ford born 1867 Stonehouse Glos they had ten children
I think their daughter Edith Ford maybe the mother of two illegitimate children
William James Ford born 1910 Lyncombe maybe the workhouse
And a daughter Dorothy May Ford born 1916 Twerton Bath
If anyone knows anything about them or are related please could they get in touch.

Have you applied for the birth certificate for exact date of birth, and identity of his Mother?

This might be his death (which is one of the reasons the exact date of birth could help)

William James Ford, born 7th September, 1910, died April 1994 at Haywards Heath

As the daughter was born after the 1911 census, and as her name only shows as Dorothy M Ford, do you have any further information about her - such as when contact was lost?
