Help - Barnston - Evelyn Victoria - East Dereham Area

Looking for relation Evelyn Victoria Barnston from Norfolk area Born I'm told 25.12.1922 died 20.11.2013. Her mother is Ruth Walker (Barnston) born in Swaffham was possibly postmistress in East Dereham before war so about 1940's married to John Barnston who died in May 1962 in Acle Norfolk. I understand Eves brother Stephen died at sea, but I have no record of Eve, so any information would be good please.

Stephen Gordon John Barnston of 2 Cemetery Rd East Dereham died 8Dec 1943 on war service. Administration to Alice Matilda Barnston widow.

He married Alice M Jarrett in 1940

But this isnt helping with Evelyn!

Here is the probate index entry when her Dad dies. But she is not an executor - his daughter in law Alice is, plus another lady. Could his daughter be Doris Mary rather than Evelyn Victoria?

'John Barnston of St Nicholas Home Dereham died 3 May 1962 in St Andrews Hospital Norwich. Probate to Doris Mary Burton married woman and Alice Matilda Barnston widow.'

Getting a copy of his will may reveal more about Evelyn as she may well be mentioned.

Evelyn Victoria Reece age 91, died 20th November 2013 at Tenbury Wells, Worcs.

thanks all for the information, Evelyn is my mother so you can understand why I am looking for this info. I have the details as you have already said so yes she died 20 November 2013 in Tenbury Wells Worcs. Yes Stephen died at Sea. Doris Mary Burton, I understand is nee Walker so Stephen Gordon John Barnstons Aunt and sister in law to John Barnston sister to Ruth Walker.
I can see my mother married George Spearman in Northumberland in 1945/7 but she then divorced George in approx 62/63 maybe a bit later.  She was a WAFT in WWII  George was in RAF.
I remember her telling me about George and that her father had been in WWI, her mother Ruth supposedly was a post mistress in the area.

All I'm looking for is some sort of birth evidence but she as in life, she remains a mystery .

I cant see a marriage for her as Spearman to a Reece.
Have you got her death cert? Was husband the informant?
Have you got a copy of her fathers will? Does that mention her? If so with any detail?
