What make & model of mobile are you using?

Hi Trystan, a Sony Experia 3, other link leads to same. no problem worked my way round the new page set up on portrait,  just seems odd that's all

If it helps I have a Sony Xperia as well and have just tried it out and it works fine. That's using Chrome.

Hi Groom thanks for input all that seems to be the case is that New Replies appears under and to the left of Unread, and all is "squeezed in"

The format was on/off normal as I explained in my opening post, but can get used to it now.

Ah, I see what you mean - New Replies button is almost under where it says Hi groom in portrait but normal ie in a line, in landscape. I don't usually use my phone for RC so didn't realise that wasn't normal.
