I am researching an ancestor about whom I have only small scraps of information.

The name I am researching is Evan Rees and the information I have applies to the early 1940s.

I know that this person originated from Port Talbot in south Wales. In around 1940/41 he had moved up to Gloucester where he had become employed for a builders firm. As part of the war effort he signed up for the Fleet Air Arm and was definitely in it in early 1942.

Does anyone out recognise this person as being part of their own family past?
