The 1940 US census [if she lived that long] gives the number of years of education completed including college/university.  For example, H3 = three years of high school; C7 = seven years of college.
Wiltshire:  Banks, Taylor
Somerset:  Duddridge, Richards, Barnard, Pillinger
Gloucestershire:  Barnard, Marsh, Crossman
Bristol:  Banks, Duddridge, Barnard
Down:  Ennis, McGee
Wicklow:  Chapman, Pepper
Wigtownshire:  Logan, Conning
Wisconsin:  Ennis, Chapman, Logan, Ware
Maine:  Ware, Mitchell, Tarr, Davis

Hi Sinann... Yes, that's the family!

Hi Erato: in 1940 Elizabeth was an inmate of a psychiatric hospital in New York. I will have to recheck, but I think the information was not complete.

Hi Eadaoin, Do you mind if I ask where a list of UCD graduates is available please?

Hi Eadaoin, Do you mind if I ask where a list of UCD graduates is available please?

I have the N.U.I. Calendar for 1933 (fat book) . . . it gives a list of all graduates up to then - presumably covers UCD, UCC and UCG. Feel free to ask!

Thanks eadaoin. I never even thought of it being an offline source. Thought I'd missed something new coming online!

Thank you Erato! I double checked the 1940 US census and it puts an 8... So I guess that solves that question!
