Hi!
    Can anyone help with the following?

I have a William Nelson marrying Jane and having the following issue:

Joseph Nelson 1831, Wetheral, Ann Nelson 1836, Wetheral and Thomas Nelson 1838, Wetheral, Cumberland.

William and Jane later moved to Chester - le -Street, Durham and had further issue: Jane 1840, Frances 1843, Mary 1843, William 1845, Elizabeth 1849 and John 1851.

On census returns William gives his place of birth as Gorton (?) or Gretna, Cumberland, and also Dumfries, Scotland. Jane gives her place of birth as Carlisle and also Scotland.

Any help much appreciated!

William Nelson married Jane Davidson 27 Nov 1828 Wetheral, Cumberland.

There were other children born in Wetheral but they may not have survived, eldest John 1829.

1851 shows William born about 1804 & Jane 1810. Possible baptisms below?
