I have traced ancestors back to 1604 in Linlithgow, I think.  Is anyone out there working on the following surnames at the relevant dates?
LITHGOW in Biggar 1811, GIFFORD 1800, CHRISTY 1789, DAVIE 1710, ANGUS 1705, WHYT 1680, CLYD 1608.
