his wife mary  died 1818 aged 66 st marys  hornsey abode Highgate that's all there is  they married in 1750   . so it works out he was born around 1751 and mary around 1752 that's all I got  I don't know his occupation  or where they residied

Mary's burial information and abode fit well to be the wife of 'your' William.

What exactly are you hoping to find out about their "abode"? An exact address? :-\ Or something else?

Added: you might like to revise their years of birth / marriage as those dates don't make sense.

they were married 1780   I,d just like to find the house see if its still there  and if possible what William done for a living

The only way you might be able to find out his occupation is if it was mentioned on his children's baptism records, it is occasionally. I think the chances of finding where he was living when he died are very slim.

Even when addresses are a little more detailed you often only get the name of a street if you are lucky, and nothing to identify which house a person lived in. Lots of changes have taken place in the Greater London area over the centuries so it's quite common for whole streets to no longer exist.

But try Groom's suggestion of looking at all of his children's baptismal records in case his occupation is given.
