I have been going around in circles with this one for some months (years)

My 4 x great grandparents were Walter Price (c1805-43) who married Eliza(beth) Robins (c1805-58) at Llanover Church, Mon on 27 Feb 1826

I have three known children; Walter (b Blaenavon c 1827-1905) my 3 x ggf, Samuel (b 1829 d 1830) & Ann (b Blaenavon c 1832)

Walter Snr was killed by a horse in 1843 and on 25 Sep 1845, Eliza(beth) married Thomas Hadlan(s)(sic), of full age, the son of another Thomas Hadlan, labourer of Blaenavon

I have Thomas, Eliza and Ann living at Augusta Street, Victoria Ironworks, Ebbw Vale in 1851 (Hadlen)

The next record I have is the burial of Eliza Hadlong with her first husband at Blaenavon on 11 Nov 1858 aged 53 years - her address given as Waunhelygan, which could be Waun Helyg in Ebbw Vale; however, I cannot find a suitable death record for her despite trying many variants of Hadlan

The second mystery is that of Ann Price

As I mentioned, she's unmarried in the 1851 but married James Harris, a miner of full age on 7 Nov 1852 at Llanhilleth.

Both are residing at Six Bells; James is the son of Charles Harris, a labourer. One of the witnesses is Mrs Hadlin, which I assume is my 4xggm

Then, they disappear forever

If anyone could throw some light on any of this, I would be appreciative

I think this might be a likely registration in neighbouring Breconshire
ELIZA HADLAM died Q4/1858 – 11b-88. CRICKHOWELL.

I also note that there were a number of possible Ann Harris deaths 1852 – 1861.
