Kingston, Dunlop

I've been searching for information on Kingston, Dunlop without any success. I know of Kingston Rd., from Neilston to Dunlop but that is all I have. I hope someone can help.  Gray865

Go to  https://www.old-maps.co.uk/index.html#/. Click on Gazetteer, Renfrewshire, Neilston. Scroll down Kingston Road until you reach Burnie Craig.
Click on the road then select one of the 1:2500 maps from 1896 onwards.  :D

Weeaza, Thank you so much for locating Kingston for me.  I don't think there is any sign of this little hamlet/village today.

I have now been along Kingston Road and from the map details supplied above I identified the area where my ancestors lived.  There appears to be a boundary stone wall and plenty of weeds and forestation.  There was no sign of dwellings/stonework but there may have been within the overgrowth.   Gray865

Gray865, who were your ancestors from Kingston?  and when were they there?

It was the Pollock family who were at Kingston approximately from 1851 - 1858.  Gray865

Oh, not relevant to me then (I'm interested in the 1700's Kings). Thanks for replying.
