I have a feeling I should know where and what this building is, but I don't.

I'm afraid I have no clues to give, except it's a postcard.

Don't you just love the cars.  Shame we can't read the number plates.

I thought it may have been Blythswood House Renfrewshire but I feel its not big enough so I looked for the designer James Gillespie Graham. Not much to see there either

It certainly looks more like some sort of official building (as opposed to residential).  Museum, palace, government building, asylum?  ???

Yes it does doesn't it...Is that a flagpole?...I wonder if it's a courthouse? The white border appeared on postcards around 1915 for economy reason during WW1.
