LOOKUP PLEASE - former Lethbridge resident

I am looking for any information for Evelyn Marie ST DENNIS nee BLANCHE.

Evelyn was born in England in 1924, married in 1946 and moved to Canada within a few years with their young dau. The family were living in Lethbridge, Alberta at the time of her death in 1958 and she is buried at Mountain View Cemetery.
I would like any information such as a death or funeral notice or anything else that seems relevant. It is known that the husband brought up the child, any remarriage is unknown. It is not known if he is still alive (doubtful though). It seems that a fuss was made at some stage by Evelyn over his possible indigenous blood if that helps with any research.

Norma Cyd ST Dennis passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 8, 2011. She was born in Lethbridge on January 14, 1954, the youngest child of Edward & Evelyn St. Dennis.

Canada Voters List 1953 showed the couple living at 941 Sixteenth Street South Alberta Canada - Edward was a brewery worker.

Canada Voters List 1962 shows Edward (Labourer) living at 635 4 th Street Alberta
Canada Voters List 1963 shows Edward (Labourer) 716 6 th Street Alberta
Canada Voters List 1965 shows Edward (labourer) 302 12 th Street South Alberta

No other entries that I could see after that year.

  Hello Sandra,

What an amazing amount of information, thank you so much. L wasn't sure if Christine was still alive and thought she had heard that there were other children but didn't know any names. She will be thrilled to know that she has living cousins that might just have been old enough to remember her and her mother visiting before going to England.

I wonder when Eddie and Christine died and where they were living at the time. Christine was severely disabled so may have been in care.

If you happen to come across any other information I would be extremely grateful to hear from.

You're very welcome.  Haven't come across anything else yet though. Perhaps an e-mail to Alberta Genealogical Society - Lethbridge Branch as suggested above to see if they have anything on Edward/Ed/Eddie.

A lot of time searching today has found the death of Edward as William Edward ST DENNIS in Feb 1972 in Calgary. It confirms the name of some family members and Christine being married which was unexpected. also found her death as PRENTICE in Feb 1978 in Vancouver.

I cannot find burial records for either of them though but that's not as important.

Well done. Christine Prentice was buried Rocky View Cemetery Calgary Alberta on the 18 February 1978. Aged 31 years - divorced.  Informant - Barbara Jean Lee. 540 16 th Avenue N W Calgary Alberta. Presumed took accidental overdose of barbiturates
