Hi,
I don t think the marriage took place as there is no sign of registration, on freemd etc or on the actual images for that quarter, there are two entries in England marriages etc both Nov 1st 1896 one of which states Banns. I think the banns were read but for whatever reason they did nt get carry on and get married.

Hi, this is in response to John Buxton to see if we can contact.
Sorry I am new to this site and not sure if this is the right place to post this. I was searching information about Reuben Twigg - married to Mary Buxton and came across this chat.  Reuben and Mary are my husbands great grandparents. After the recent passing of my father in law this information was just sent to us. We have a photo of Mary Buxton and would like to share this with John Buxton if he is related to Mary.

Sorry it has taken me so long to answer your post but I have been busy moving house.  Mary would be my 1st Cousin 3 times removed and as photos of my family are very rare I would be very grateful for a photo of Mary and Reuben.  I hope you found some information on this thread useful. Wow I think your photo looks like the one we have of Mary, I can see the Buxton genetics.
I am not sure how to add the photo on here or if it is safe to add our email.

Hello Karen,
Thanks I have been told before That the Buxtons bear strong resemblances, but it is difficult to tell when comparing to onesself.
I know you are not supposed to put email addresses on the these pages but I have done it before without any noticeable increase in spam etc.  I would be most grateful if you could email the photo to   Thanks again
