The 26 Houses on the north side are Armstrong Street, the 12 houses at the west end are  Short Row, Severs Terrace and Morton Crescent are not in the same place, see the map http://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/sidebyside.cfm#zoom=16&lat=55.0125&lon=-1.7255&layers=10&right=BingHyb

I took a nap after posting the query and woke up to all of your answers. A very technical question well answered. It just left me to go to FreeBMD and check the registration area of Castle Ward and sure enough Whorlton is included. Thank you everyone.

I went to the Parish of Whorlton baptisms and there she was.

Parish of Whorlton, Diocese of Newcastle 1910.

Born 4 November 1910, baptized 11 December 1910, Gladys, daughter of Alfred and Mary Jane Graver, Burn Close. Occupation Miner.
