Census look up - street names
« on: Friday 22 May 15 18:59 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find out the occupants of the following:-

Houses 28/30/32/34 Eyre Street / Eyre Street East, Hasland, Derbyshire

If some kind person has a street index and can give me references I can then hopefully find the record - I am OK with the 1911 census but it's before then and particularly 1901, struggling to find a site which does a street search now.

Many thanks

I have been messing around with FindMyPast for a while, I can put in Eyre Street but it doesn't like Hasland, the main parish would be Chesterfield and if you use that to search there is more than one Eyre Street.  I know Hasland was recorded as Hasland (not Chesterfield) in 1901 but a street name index would at least give me the reference for Eyre Street if it's under Hasland. Messy stuff street names, used to be a lot easier on the old FindMyPast!

Hasland can be classed possibly as Chesterfield on census as it is pretty much a part of the area.
