I found his records on the National Archives of Australia site by doing a name search, WW1 and refining it with the Christian names.  Fiddly, but worth it.  Perhaps get a cuppa as there are 154 pages.

Thank you Nanna for the information on the CWGC site. I have not been able to access the records you found on the National Archives of Australia site. I will try again tomorrow and I am looking forward to reading the 154 pages when I can get access to them.

Thank you also Leanne if I wasn't sure I had the correct person the Roll of Honour print out had all the proof I needed. His mother was living in Norwich, Norfolk in 1901 where he would have finished his schooling and it was interesting to read he had been in the Royal Marines and had travelled to all parts of the world.

Thank you both for all your help I would not have solved it without you.

Thank you Nanna I have spent the evening going through his file. Very interesting reading. Dozens of letters sent from his mother. Henry was her only son so she was devastated when he died.

He is on the 1901 census as Harry Edward Richardson aged 19 b Norwich Norfolk  - soldier (military) in Portsmouth
