George Sykers married Sarah Watson 9th July 1832 Rotherham

Does the marriage registry give the place of birth of Sarah Watson?

Hi!

I've found a marriage registry of one Ann Secker in MAR 1883, at Doncaster, 9c 815???

Could this be the widow of George Secker?

1861 census transcribed as Lecker address Minsthorpe Civil parish North Elmsall

1871 census same address
George Secker age 62 Carpenter & Joiner
Ann wife age 53
Ann Mothard b 1783 Reedness Yorkshire age 88 mother
piece 4641 Folio 69 page 6

I found a marriage at Goole (near Reedness) of Ann Wilson to George Secker, SEP 1859.
So I figure Ann's maiden name was Ann Mothard (which by the way its a very strange surname, maybe it's mispelled in the transcript).
Then she married some guy named Wilson.
Wilson died and she married George Secker.
Then Secker died. She lived at South Elmsall as widow until 1881.
And then I found a marriage of Ann Secker in 1883 but I can't know for sure the spouse's name.

Think this looks like the marriage for Ann Northard 1842 Pontefract Yorkshire to William Wilson
Looks like them in the 1851 census in Pontefract Piece 2330 Folio 173 page 3 ..It looks like this Ann has a family to William Wilson ? and William was in the 1861 census ?.. You will find a photo of Ann Northard's parents grave stone at www.findagrave .com ...Baptism for Ann Northard 22/12/1816 Airmyn York father William Northard mother Ann Naylor

The Ann Secker who married John Burnitt in 1883 was in 1891, Ann Burnitt 74 Widow occ Living on own means b Armin ( Which compares favourably with the HARMIN on the original for 1871 already posted) living at Back Street, Epworth, Thorne, Yorks
