John Gill 1871 Cumberworth Yorkshire
« on: Saturday 23 May 15 16:47 BST (UK) »
Hi
I have John Gill b.1871 in the 1901 Census living in Almondbury with wife Abigail (nee France) and daughter Doris. John and Abigail were married 25 Jan 1899, Armitage Bridge. My problem is I can find no sign of them in the 1911 census or anywhere in the Ancestry records.  Father of John - George Gill 1850 Fulstone Yorkshire, and Father of Abigail - William France 1831 Huddersfield Yorkshire. Any help welcomed

Try searching for Abagial Giel b. 1871 Huddersfield in the 1911 on Ancestry.

That was quick
Many thanks Heywood and Pheno - all I needed.  I rely too much on Ancestry "Sounds like and similar"
Giel is a new one - had Geel, Gele, and others obscura in the past. Your help appreciated.
