Hebridean MacDonald DNA
« on: Sunday 24 May 15 20:45 BST (UK) »
I would appreciating making any contact with Macdonalds with origins in Skye or the Outer Isles who have had their Y-DNA tested.

I would be particularly interested in hearing from any one who have tested for Haplogroup R1a1a but who do not appear to be directly descended from Somerled the progenitor of Clan Donald.

Many Thanks

Donnie Macdonald
