*COMPLETED* Death look-up Mary Ann Jude (m/s Baker) - 1870 N/C-upon- Tyne

Hi Folks,

I'm wondering if someone can do a death look-up please for Mary Ann Jude (m/s Baker) b c1839 Yorks - d 1870 Newcastle-upon- Tyne.

She was 1st wife of my 2 x g/grandfather Anthony Jude.

I would like to know who her parents were but I know it will only be her father's name recorded.

You need to see the death certificate, which can only done by ordering it via the GRO.

But the death certificate won't give you the name of her father - unless he was the informant

The marriage certificate should give you her father's name and occupation.

Most of my death records are Scottish (both parent's named) & Irish..............no father's name.

I have 1 English death cert. (albeit a wrong one as there are so many variations to his surname) whereby he was registered by a non family member so I didn't really pay attention when I realised it was the wrong one.

I can't find a marriage for them yet 

She's only on 1861 census as she died 1870

 Is her maiden name BARKER ~ from the other post ( Birth of Henry Jude 29 Oct 1863 with parents Anthony Jude & Mary Ann Jude (formerly Barker), or Baker ?

There are a few BARKERs on FS that may fit.
