hi looking for harriet waters Birth abt 1835 in  Whitland, Pembrokeshire, Wales She was the illegitimate daughter of Mary a servant born in the poor house, baptised 3/1/1836 Pwllcrochan, Pembrokeshire. was wondering if any one could help me find her in the 1841 cens and the 1851 cens I found her after that married to noah jones in 1858 Merthyr Tydfil and do you know were I could find the records for the poor house she was born in thank you for all your help thanks jimmy

Have you looked for a marriage for her mother?  It's possible Harriet is shown under her mothers married name on the 1841 census

Not sure but wasn't Whitland in Carmarthen in the 1830's?

There is an 1851 entry for a Harriet Waters aged 15 b Cydweli, Carmarthenshire, Wales working as a servant in Monmouthshire

Might be worth looking into this - there's a Harriet Waters charging a John evans of being the father of her illegtimate child in 1850 in Pontypool. He pleads guilty and has to pay 1s 6d a week. Mr Evans is up before the courts agin in April 1852 for non payment of the affiliation money.

Harriet would be very young, but the Cydweli servant is the only one of that name in the area in 1851
