Burial Information of St Mary's Portsea

Hello does any body have details on a family of mine buried at St Mary's in Portsea.

The family in question is Hatherley
any body coonected to this name i would be interested in. I have completed all census work but dont and any MI's if any?

My main branch is
Joseph and Susannah Hatherley died 1855 & 1848
children are
William died 1883
John died 1867
Eliza died 1890

Have  you tried http://www.knightroots.co.uk/.  They hold quite a lot of Hampshire records.

The chances are that the members of this family were buried in one of the municipal cemeteries in Portsmouth.  There may be some MIs, but first you would need to find where they are buried.  Portsmouth History Centre have the cemetery records on fiche:

Some of Mile End Cemetery was cleared to make way for the ferry terminal, while the churchyard at St Mary's was cleared of headstones after WW2.
