Dublin family from 1901 c Ireland
« on: Tuesday 26 May 15 12:13 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Does anyone have information on the 44 yo widower Michael Rogers from 1901 c?
He was living at 39.3 Clarendon St. (Royal Exchange, Dublin).
He & his elder son John had the occupation of Corporation Bath Attendt.
The 15 yo son Michael is a Messenger, & there's a 3 yo infant daughter, Martha.
Has this family been found in the 1911 c?   Thanks ABSOT

Hi
It is possible that Michael Rogers aged 44 on the 1901 census died in 1905.

Deaths Dublin South July/Sept 1905 Volume 2 Page 494 Aged 46

There is a record from Glasnevin Cemetary of a Michael Rogers aged 40 buried there in 1905 which appears to have a matching address to the one on the 1901 census.

Hi everyone,
If the family I'm trying to find isn't the 39 Clarendon Street one,
is there any information on a family at 31 Aughrim St. (Arran Quay, Dublin)?
Mother Margaret Rogers is a 46 yo widow, Mary J Rogers a 20 yo National Teacher,
Annie an 18 yo Teacher also, Michael 15 yo Scholar & 2 female boarders from Tipperary.
This family is even more difficult to find much on than the first.
Am grateful for info already received & also for any which is available on this family.  Thanks ABSOT
