If you look on GenUKI, Cornwall, Towns & Parishes, Crantock and then Nearby Places you get to:

http://www.genuki.org.uk/cgi-bin/places?CON,SW790606,5,Crantock

Which has Trevella 1 mile south of Crantock.
OS coordinates SW790600
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Yup, that's modern place named Trevella, more like 1/2 a mile from Crantock http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=179935&y=60137&z=115&sv=179935,60137&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=708&ax=179935&ay=60137&lm=0

but looking to find any reference to Trelelva and/or proof Trevella is same place.  Seems mostly a caravan park now  ::)

I went through quite a loop last week for a place up in North East where the name of the farm next door had been moved in early 1800s to the place I was looking for.  Very confusing but side by side comparison of old & new maps and and old book on a thoroughbred cattle rearing farmer proved it  :)  ...it proves also though that place names come & go and can move.
