Something a bit different…..

PLEASE NOTE THE FRAMES THAT I USE ARE MY OWN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND STYLE.  I WOULD APPRECIATE IF PEOPLE WOULD REFRAIN FROM IMITATING THEM AND/OR BORROWING THEM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.  THANK YOU!

Bookmarking this. Interesting graveyard there, looks as if the graves are all marked with wooden crosses.

Like everyone else who's been church-hunting, I'm sure I've seen this one before!
But what struck me is the number of simple crosses in the churchyard. I've never seen so many except where a lot of people were buried around the same time & you have to wait for the ground to settle before installing a stone. Maybe near a WW1 hospital? Or the flu epidemic of 1918?
Neither of which helps with the location, but puzzling.

Also if that if that is the case, newer pictures will show a different graveyard.

They don't look like new graves to me though - too much vegetation.

And it may not be painted now...

Agree about the overgrown graves, Mike.

Unusual style and proportions - I think it has a slight "European" look about it.

(I will no doubt be proven wrong though.  ;))
