George Bowden farm labourer Ludworth

I am trying to trace the father of George Bowden who was a farm labourer Ludworth, I cannot seem to get any joy with the 1841 census records can you help please.

When was he born?   Did he marry before or after 1837

I did give you the reference for the 1841 census on your other post  about George.
Did you miss it?
The surname has been transcribed as Bouden rather than Bowden.
George Bouden 35 Labourer not born in county
Nancy Bouden 35
Jane Bouden 15
 Martha Bouden 14
Betty Bouden 13
William Bouden 9
Joseph Bouden 7
John Bouden 4
Sarah Bouden 1
Living in Romiley.

1841 shows not born in county but 1851 shows Ludworth Derbyshire.   Not sure of the actual geography but is Ludworth one of those "border" places with Cheshire?

Kathy - have you seen the 2 possibilities on Family Search - one in 1804 and the other in 1806

The 1841 shows them living in Romiley registration district is Stockport which is Cheshire.

It looks like this is the right one so if George was married in 1804 then his father ? Would have been born around 1780 assuming he was in hi 20s I don't seem to have much luck with the census search for Bowden or Bouden.
They could be from Stockport as it is not far from Marple or Ludworth. Thanks
