Sarah Rebecca Tyrell - Astwood/Newport
« on: Monday 01 June 15 22:36 BST (UK) »
Evening happy Rootschat peoples!

Ok, tonights puzzle for me is this lady.

She was born around 1826. There are two possible births, one Newport Pagnell, the other Barton Hortshorn ? which i think is near Bicester. Of the online trees that list her none have parents listed.

In 1841 there is a sarah in Barton and a Rebecca in Newport. There is a death registered in Newport of a Sarah Tyrell in 1844.

Cheers

Mike

in 1847 Sarah Rebecca Tyrell married Eli Wright in Hardmead.

Census records after her marriage support her birthplace as Newport Pagnell.

So I am after her parents names, which i cant find and if poss any siblings.

John Flute is the lodger, he is the son of Thomas Walker Flute and Suzzanna, She being the daughter of William and Ann Wright. (William being the son of Charles and Ruth) John Flute goes on to marry Mary, the Daughter of John Wright and Francis (Wilding).

Now back to the Tyrrel family. Chacombe is actually not that far from Barton Hartshorn so there may still be a link there. That's for another day I think.

It seems then that she was born in Newport Pagnell area to Ben and Hannah.

So in 24 hours we have her parents names, thanks again all.
