Thomas Cresswell marriage to Ann Kidger

Is there anyone that can put me out of my misery and see if they can find the above marriage, I thought it was in Sussex but I can't find it on the Sussex marriage CD so am now thinking it happened somewhere else!! I also think it is pre 1837. He was born in Graffham, Huntingdonshire.

Do you have them on any census & if so where?  If they had children, where & when was the first known child born or baptised?

I haven't got any more details I'm afraid. I am tracing this tree for a friend and have hunted on Ancestry and come across 4 other trees with the same people.  Cleophas Cresswell (their son?) married Eliza Todman.  If I use info from other trees I have to validate it but it's not being easy!

Cleophas was apparently married to Eliza Todd in 1851 with an approx birth date of 1826.  I am presuming that you have information from this marriage that his father is Thomas so we should be looking for a marriage for Thomas c1826

Charles, George and Cleophas are all with James Boxall in 1841 census.
Graffham comes from the other trees which I am beginning to think have just been copied from each other as none have any more details!

Where did you get Anns maiden name of Kidger from?

Yes, more than likely the online trees are all just copied from one another. Unless any can back up what they say from parish registers etc, then I wouldnt take any notice of them. By all means use them as a hint, but never as a source.

Again from the trees, there isn't a Sussex marriage for Thomas Cresswell to an Ann in the time frame expected but there is obviously one somewhere as the baptisms show those as the parents name but whether it's Kidger or not??? Beginning to wish I'd not started this one lol
