I am looking for information on the above mentioned gentleman. I would like to know if he and his family have connections with my family in Craig y Pandy, Tregarth.

He was born on 2/11/1889 in Bangor, Pennsylvania, the son of Mr & Mrs Thomas and Alice Price Jones. His wife's name was Wilhelmina Margaret Hay, and his children's names were Thomas H. Jones, Irvington, New York and David C. Jones Jr. from Oakland, California. His sister's name was Hattie Smith, from Windy Gap. David also had a granddaughter.

In case it is of any help, it appears that Mr. Thomas Jones' full name may have been John Thomas Jones (if the following is for "your" Thomas and Alice).

An Alice Price Jones died in 1935; buried in Bangor, PA.  According to the certificate of death, her husband was John T. Jones.  Mrs. Jones was born in 1860 in Maryland.  Her parents were Lewis Price, Wales and Ellen Jones, Wales.

This appears to be the headstone for Mrs. Alice and Mr. John T. Jones:

(There is no mention of David C. Sr. - is this the correct family?)   

I have not yet found Mr. Jones' passing; I'm hoping it might mention his family members.

According to an online tree, John T. Jones (married to Alice L. Price) died 2 May 1900.  They state he was born in Llanfihangel-geneu'r-glyn, Ceredigion, Wales.

Yes Harriet. Possibly her surname 'Smith' is her married name.

On the death certificate for Alice Price Jones - the informant was Arthur Smith - possibly Hattie's husband?  He had the same address as Alice Jones - 42 N 3rd Street.

Arthur Smith's death certificate (born 1891, died 1955) shows his address as 42 N. 3rd Street. 

I have not yet found additional information about "Hattie".

It appears that Lewis Price was also buried in Saint John's Cemetery and his marker can be found using the above link.

1860 Dublin, Hartford Co., Maryland census shows a Lewis Price, age 34, born Wales, occupation Slater and wife, Ellen, 33, Wales (children Elizabeth, David and Hugh).
