Thomas Duncan moved from Lesmahgrow to Goven with his family sometime in the late 1850s then nothing is herd of him until 1881 when he is living in Sheffield and married to Eliza Duncan, she is from Sheffield and died around 1909. I believe they had 4 children Thomas J Duncan, Absolom Duncan, Christiana Duncan and Alexander Duncan who is my fathers grandfather who died in 1952.

Hi again the 1881 you have for Thomas cannot be the father of an Alexander b c 1930?
Can you give us the  1881 household you believe contain your Thomas and wife Eliza?

PS This couple I showed had a son Alexander Duncan b 1872 who is on the 1891 but not 1881 census ?
Think this is the Absolom you show?

The Alexander Duncan b 1930 had a Mothers maiden name Bishop. do you know the parents names?

Not unusual for English enumerators to confuse Scotland & Ireland.
