cannot find a record for a possible marriage in East Farndon...

It should be 1750
between
Jane Craddock
and
William Patrick.

also cannot find Janes birth anywhere.

Now this may be wrong... so

what I have for definite is:

william Patrick born 1727 Lubenham
and Jane (hopefully) Craddock
had the following children.

Kezia, Mary, Lydia, Samuel and Priscilla starting around 1768.

then I think Jane dies in 1798.

I have found these on Lubenham Parish reg and with help on here.  :)

thank you
xin

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think you need to verify all that information as, as far as I can see it is all wrong.

The nearest I can get is there is a baptism for a William Patrick but it is not in Lubenham.

( I have used CD's of baptisms and burials for Northamptonshire for the period in coming to the above conclusion and whilst they are not infallible the chance of them missing all the entries is very unlikely. I do not have access to marriage information).

Also Lubenham is in Leicestershire, no ? Should you be looking for this information in Leicestershire instead of Northamptonshire ?
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

Hello

My post was not set out very well... forgive me   - sorry.

I have a Lubenham Parish reg pdf.  and have gone through it till all the William and Marys become one.... :)

Anyhow on there I found

the attached for William  Patrick  - son of William and Mary nee Tilley..

I then went on Fam Search IGI and found the children listed above as that of William and Jane Craddock.

Uhm... havent as yet found their actual christenings on Lub pdf but have also got Mkt Hbr to go through.

so I will check up on those again and verify dates where possible.

I also found a record, somewhere on line of the possible marriage of William and Jane... in East Farndon.

So yes I will check those details... again

sorry     :-X :-\

xin

ps.. I really was just asking on this post regarding Jane Craddock, who I havent found in Leicestershire, but had seen that she may have been from Northamptonshire.
That is why I popped it on Northants rather than Leicester.  The Leicester stuff I mostly have now
well with a bit of spitting and polishing to do.

OK I understand a little better now

This is the baptism of the William Patrick I found in Northamptonshire

William PATRICK s William & Ann 1727, 23-Jul Higham Ferrers C of E

There is no baptism that I can find for Jane Craddock (various spellings)

As I said above I have no access to marriage information

Also there seems to be something wrong with that record you have found as there was no 29 February in 1727, probably a transcription error

From the Northamptonshire Marriage Index (1700-1837):

28 DEC 1749 - William PATRICK (of Lubenham) to Jane CRADOCK (otp) at East Farndon CofE

(Note slightly different spelling of bride's surname.)

Market Harborough and Little Bowden Baptisms and marriages from about 1690 are on Free Reg, I know 'cause I transcribed them.

This is the only Cradock baptism in East Farndon of about the right time but no way of knowing if Samuel is a brother to Jane or if Richard is her father

Samuel CRADOCK s Richard 03-Sep 1718  East Farndon C of E
