New York 1865 Census
« on: Saturday 13 June 15 12:25 BST (UK) »
(*)

I have every reason to believe that the Henry & Sophia Irvine are mine, they were from The city of london, but who Charles is unknown at mo, (*) if the info offered matches fairly well I would like all that is recorded, I have never seen a American census image so do not know what to expect.
  ever hopefully ....mick

Hi

Where does the surname BLANK come into it ? These people Henry and Sophia were German and the children were all born in America, here is a link to the census image, not sure if they are yours or not

THanks to you both, my man Henry and what he got up to is nearly enough for a book, its just odd
that the names seem to fit, but he was a rouge so nothing surprises me thats got written, you have to read between the lines, did all he could to hide himself he lived in every county in southern england with children to match, where did Ancestry get the child's full name from 'Henry Glessing Irvine' .
its not on the census are the births of the children recorded and on line.  ???...
