Family name, my welsh family was totally confusing, my Uncle Reg real name Thomas John.  So I wont confuse the issue any further. 

Thanks for the Probate notice for Rose, thought she died a pauper, another story hits the dust!!!!  I dont know who Jacqueline Rose Shakespeare was?  More confusion! regards Trish

I think that there is an Austin connection to the name on probate, maybe her mother.  I have sent PM re two possible births and a 1953 marriage

The J R Shakespeare to whom Probate was granted  married three years later and still living in Bournemouth.

I believe one of Rose's sisters Alice b1867 Marston or Ann b Mar q 1864 married an Austin.  So the connection could be money left to one of her sister's grandchildren.  regards Trish

I have not found a likely marriage for either Alice or Ann to an Austin, it is possible they could have been married to someone else first.

Do you know who Rose's father was? Her mother was a widow in 1871 and did not marry William HAZELL until two year after Rose was born.

Rose's mother appeared to have been married twice. Neither of her husbands seem to have been Rose's father. 1St marriage was William Warren, 2nd marriage was William Hazell. There was 4 children, Alice b1867, Ann b1864, Thomas b1870 & Rose b1874. All took the surname Warren. Rose's Mother was Emma Heath or Frampton born 1839 Bourton. Emma's mother was Eliza who married James Frampton. But I cannot find Eliza's 1st Husband Heath who possibly the father of Emma. Regards Trish
