Avuncular DNA test results

Is there anybody out there who knows how to interpret the results of an avuncular test? We have received results which are inconclusive but no explanation of how they come to that conclusion. Can send copy by private message.

I don`t know how to do that, but would it help anyone who can to know if the uncle was on maternal or paternal side?                                                                                                     ria

The Aunts are both half siblings to my Dad

Ah, I thought as it was avuncular it was an Uncle you were researching-well your Dad an Uncle is if the Aunts have children of course.
Without any expertise I can visualise complications as they are half siblings.
I`m curious now.I hope some RootsChatter can sort it out for you.       Viktoria.

Thanks Viktoria, actually we are trying to prove whether their Dad was also my Grandad, unfortunately there are none of the brothers still alive so we have had to use females to try and prove the male line.
Both sides of the family are fairly sure there is a link - from photos, mannerisms etc, but we cannot find that vital piece of evidence that puts him in the right place at the right time, everything is just circumstantial.
