Thanks Chempat.
The double wedding sounds intriguing and quite possible, Trish. Is there any information with Margaret and James re parents?

I see a John and Mary Hopes have daughters Margaret (b 1779) and Mary (1780), but they are from Cumberland. Wonder if this is the family, though isn't Cumberland a long way form Wiltshire?
