Could you say how you know that he is definitely John Ludwig Frederick Voigt born in Germany?

Yes he was born in Bavaria Germany

Have you tried https://familysearch.org/search - it is a free website where you can search census and other records.

There is a crest on this web-site - not sure how authentic it would be - try google and see what comes up

I think I saw a picture once when John and Annie were at William's Wedding to Pauline but can't seem to find the picture. I don't think they were married for long.

Now for some fun stuff... I was wondering if there are any people who are related to me (even if it is removed etc.) John F was my 3x great grandfather William my 2xgreat grandfather William E my great grandfather William E Jr. my grandfather William E III my father, and now there is only me 4th generation. All people I know do not need to get in touch with me. any info on John is appreciated. Even if this post has to be moved for other people to see is greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for people related to you, then look in the 'surname interests' in 'your tools', below.

Also in Ancestry family trees (quite a few possible matches) and any other genealogical sites around, for anyone who has any of your family in their trees.
