Hi
I am looking for any details on this gentleman.
He was born in Dromore. co, Down 6/1/1897, son of Wm G HAGAN & Minnie DAVIS
He is on census 1901 & 1911 living in Derry with McDevitte family-which is correct.
He married 6/7/1921 in Church of Ireland, Belfast (had been living in Omagh) where his bride was from. both were shopassistants. - no idea where.
His wife was Ann Isabella (Annabella) JEFFERS Her birth 20/3/1894 recorded as JEFFREYS, Omagh, (sixmilecross) daughter of Samuel Jeffers.

I have found a very likely death for him:
Died: 3/5/1944,Rostrevor Sanitorium
Edward John Hegan late of Donaghadee. male, married. aged 47 yrs. Salesman. Died of TB.. Registered in Newry.

This does not confirm who his wife was unfortunately.
So i wondered if anyone knew of this family.
Perhaps he had children from this marriage. I do not know.
Where might he be buried?
Why go all the way from Donaghadee to Rostrevor for TB treatment when there was Whiteabbey hospital.
How could I access newspapers to confirm if any death notice.

any suggestions please

He is buried in Belfast City Cemetery, this link takes you to the burial records for him, his wife and I presume in-laws, they are the occupants of grave G2 108, clicking on "View details" will show individual record information, including the last place of residence:

BTW, the grave owner was Elizabeth Anne Jeffers.

Just a lucky find. Rostrevor has a mild micro-climate due to the Mournes, I had an elderly relative stay there a lot in the 1960s partly because of that.
