It's not really clear as to exactly what kind of info you are asking for?

If you are looking for a marriage or death - have you checked Scotlands People?

Have you looked for her on any of the available censuses if you are looking for her ancestry?

I think this issue may be: THE CHEMIST AND DRTTGOIST (must be Druggist  ::)), March 25, 1916.

Alan, this is Jean's family I think in 1901:

Duncan Bell 32 coal miner b. Bothwell
Annie Bell 50 b. Glasgow
Isabella Bell 28
William Bell 23
John Bell 20
Jeanie Bell 18 b. Bothwell
Duncan Bell 16
James Bell 13

Address: Newhouse Glasgow & Edinbro Road, Holytown Bothwell

Duncan, father, showing as Postmaster by 1916 (much healthier occupation for sure). An Isabella Bell was a witness, maybe big sister? Mother an Annie McNeil https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTT1-J4F

Some missing children in 1891, might help with expanding the family if they were with other family for that census. This is this Duncan and Annie in 1891:

Duncan Bell 42 coalminer
Annie Bell 40
John Bell 10
Duncan Bell 6
James Bell 3

Address: lasgow & Edinburgh Rd Newhouse, Holytown Bothwell

From 'where are the other children in 1891'...think this might be Jean in 1891:

Mrs William Bell 78 Shop Keeper, New Monkland, Lanarkshire
Jane A Bell 8 visitor b. Bothwell
John Macgoun 19 lodger

Address: Newhouse, Holytown

Mrs William Bell likely Bell Grannie....she is very probably Jean Aitken who married a William Bell, who had son Duncan Bell https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTL7-NS4

Don't we just love Scottish naming pattern  :D

Hello SWH1,
'Dundee Evening Telegraph' - Tuesday 14th March, 1916.
"Serbian Nurse to Wed Fife Chemist.
Miss Jean Aitken Bell, who was one of the British nurses in Serbia before the advance of the Germans on that country forced them to take flight, is to be married to Mr John Carmichael, pharmacist, Leslie, Fife, on Thursday first. The wedding is to take place at the residence of the bridegroom's sister, Mrs R. Jack. Miss Bell belongs to Newhouse, Holytown, and previous to volunteering for service in Serbia was engaged as health visitor of Thornton Hospital. She came through the terrible hardships in Serbia unscathed."

     'Motherwell Times' - Friday 17th March, 1916.
"Miss Jean Aitken Bell, one of the nurses who came through the hardships experienced by the British units in Serbia, was married yesterday to Mr John Carmichael, pharmacist, Leslie, Fife. Miss Bell, who is a native of Newhouse, Holytown, was engaged as health visitor of Thornton Hospital before volunteering for Serbia. She is the first of the plucky band of nurses to be married. The wedding took place in Glasgow."

I assume the Thornton Hospital mentioned was the Combination Poorhouse/Hospital in Thornton, Fife, not far from Leslie.

Jane Aitken Bell, born 1882 at Holytown, Lanarkshire. (ScotlandsPeople)
Jean Aitken Carmichael, other name, Bell died 1957 at Cathcart, Glasgow, aged 74yrs. (ScotlandsPeople)
John Carmichael, chemist, Leslie, died 27th April, 1935 in a Nursing Home, Edinburgh, following an operation. ('Dundee Courier')

               Regards,     Dod.
