34 Halls are to my knowledge buried in the  cemetery across the road from All Saints Church @
Braunston  not all have headstones or the full names listed also some are ashes .will look on my list to see if I have recorded any photos of  headstones .& will be visiting the said Cemetery on Sat to lay flowers @ family graves there whilst I am up for the Braunston Historic Narrowboat show.

Not to my knowledge .I come from 7 generations of working canal boatmen & have lots of family & connecting members buried in what is known as the Boatmans Cemetery . My G grandparents on my Nans side are buried in the church grounds there but plot records have been lost only parish records remain

:) thank you.  From my research I am beginning to think that my relatives were also boatmen and am finding relations up and down the canal route, Brington to Hillmorton! Have a great weekend and thanks again.

Hi
I am carrying out research on Charles Hall who was a physician at Braunston Northants from around 1760-1795 and then Tavistock Devon  1795-1816. He was a direct descendant of Joseph Hall Bishop of Exeter and then Norwich. Both of these people can be found on wikipedia
I am keen to contact any living descendants who may have letters/ other materials relating to him.
Best wishes,
Martin McDonagh

Hello
I am also looking for information on the Hall family who lived in Braunston and who were boatman. My great grandfather was Allen Reading Hall 1855 -1902. He married Ellen Higgins. His father was Edward Reading Hall 1827 -? and his father was also Edward Hall and all were boatman. I would be so grateful if anyone could help.
I would love to get to Braunston one day. I live in Perth Western Australia

Sue
