I lived not far from it for some 30 years so I ought to know it  ;D

If any of you remember the wonderful BBC adaptation in the 1980's of the Barchester Chronicles (remember Alan Rickman as Mr Slope?) you will have seen this gate many times - the Deanery, to which it leads, was used as the Bishop's Palace and various characters were frequently seen walking through it.
