Andrew James Johnston.......birth in Coldstream?

I recently found a document indicating that my great grandfather (Andrew James Johnston) was born in Coldstream in either 1855 or 1856. His father's name was Walter (born in Scotland) and his mother's first name was Annis (born in England). If true, I'd like to visit his birthplace on my upcoming trip to Scotland. Any assistance that would help me confirm this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi- I'm still looking for the marriage certificate. His death certificate shows what looks like Annis as his mother's first name (no last name provided) with birthplace being England. That's why I wondering if there may have been another Andrew Johnston born in 1855 or 1856? Thanks for your reply.

When and where did he die ?

Do you know the name of his wife ?

We may be able to identify him on the Census returns if we have a little more information.
