James John Pearce b 1832
« on: Monday 29 June 15 17:52 BST (UK) »
Hi,  I cannot seem to find James in the 1851 census,  I found his parents James and Elizabeth residing in Newington but James was not there.  James was born in Gravesend in 1832 to James Pearce and Elizabeth Grigston (Pearce).  both James occupation was Bookbinders.   If anyone can come up with anything it would be appreciated.  I have him on others but not 1851.

Regards. Sue

Are you sure he's not the Joseph J who is listed in the 1851? There isn't a Joseph with them in 1841.

Yes I definately think you are right Maureen,  it does look like Joseph though,  it must be an error.

Thank you,

Sue
