Jane (Kingsbury) Bird b 1838 Walworth

I'm looking for birth records for Jane Kingsbury Bird, b about 1838 in Walworth.  That is the name on her marriage and banns when she married Joseph Henry Gibson, her father is listed as Thomas Bird.  Subsequent census records all say she was worn in Newington or Walworth, but I haven't been able to find any records so far, there's a Jane Bird b in 1841 in Frimley, but that is too far, and she would then have only been 15 rather than 18 at time of marriage.  I thought maybe Kingsbury was her mothers name but I haven't found any evidence of that either.    The marriage record seems to be the only time she used the name Kingsbury.

Thomas married Mary Ann Rowls Lee (father Frederick Lee occ labourer)
One of the witnesses was a Sarah Bird

The address for Joseph Gibson (Costermonger) who married Jane is also 3 Union St - Janes has no number Union St and gives her father as Thomas, also a costermonger

I wonder if one of them has their fathers name wrong or whether they are cousins.

It says Thomas Bird is/was a Costermonger (as is Joseph).  Neither father was a witness, one of the witnesses looks like Susan Clayton, the other is a scribble, hard to read as the only one who didn't "leave their mark" on that entry.  Possibly last name Anderson.  They married in Bethnal Green, and resided on Union Street.

Oh, that's strange I didn't think to look at the next entry.  Odd they would get married the same day.  Looks like one of the witnesses (the one that could supposedly write) was at both weddings.

Good find!  That marriage would have been after her birth though, if she was 18 in 1856.  Hrrrm.
