I have found Treborth Academy in the 1861 census

RG09/4352/74/33 (or search for George L Parry born 1835)

No sign of Edward amongst the pupils

Roger

Could he be the Edward Lewis given as born Anglesey, staying as a lodger with George McConchie,a railway porter,at Elmore Street,Everton,West Derby in 1871?

RG10/3819/44/31

Although it's poor quality,I think the original for that entry says "joiner",so I would dismiss that(and I think this Edward Lewis is still in Everton in 1881),Sorry.
